Hi, I'm Merlijn.

I grew up in Ghent and trained as a teacher. Since then I've taught languages in a lot of different rooms: five years tutoring the children of diplomats, executives and public figures, then years teaching adults at international companies like Philips, Nike, PwC and KPMG.

I now live in Hamburg, which means I'm learning a language as an adult myself, sitting in a German class with my own homework. It keeps me honest about what actually helps.

I teach in English or German, and I'll always adapt to how you learn rather than the other way around.
